QA
Churches need to reach people. Fellowship Technologies’ software helps. Every day we are building a better solution. And every day we are becoming better at building it. Both are our calling and our passion. If that interests you, and you have the right skill set and drive, you may enjoy becoming a part of our team!
What makes a great addition to the QA team?
You understand the web. You have an uncanny ability to zero in on something that doesn’t seem right, quickly validate your suspicion, clearly communicate what you see, and collaborate to make it right. You always seek the elegant solution. You have a passion to serve churches, want to work in an agile environment, and are professional yet casual. You strive for excellence over good enough and use innovation to solve common problems.
What does this position require?
More than just a degree in computer science, writing test scripts, and finding bugs. It requires keen intuition, developer-like skills (without wanting to be a developer), the ability to create test plans, analyze results, and recommend corrective action. Creativity and initiative are expected to deliver an unprecedented level of quality to our customers.
In this role you will get to do all of this and more:
• Strive to deliver products that delight our customers
• Verify functionality of all new and existing products
• Identify, communicate, track and report software defects
• Create and execute manual/automated test cases for functional, integration and regression testing
• Actively participate in agile methodology practices and approaches (daily Scrum, planning, retrospectives, etc.)
• Identify opportunities for process improvement
• Support the release process from planning to deployment
• Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, DBAs and others to foster a collaborative work environment
We have a cool work environment and smart people; you can see it all at fellowshiptech.com. We offer benefits on the first date of employment; they are the “usuals” and we will gladly tell you about them if you are selected for the interview process. We look forward to receiving your resume!
